BWI can be found in various locations throughout Eden, NY: Eden American Legion, Eden Co-Op, Eden Boys & Girls Club. BWI offers programming for Eden residents and neighboring communities.
Who is BWI?
BWI is owned and operated by Eden resident, Shawna R. Dosser, MS, President of BWI Health Promotions and a health educator/exercise physiologist. BWI has been in business since 1994, offering worksite health promotion programs and special event services to the Western New York business community. BWI has hosted the WNY Battle of the Businesses for the past eleven years and many additional health-related programs, staff development, team-building and special events.

BWI Fitness Assessment
Do you know your numbers? Fitness evaluations assess an individual’s level of physical fitness. Testing includes: Body Composition, Blood Pressure, Resting and Target Heart Rates, Grip Strength, Flexibility, Lung Capacity, BMI and Recovery Heart Rate. Assessments are used for predetermination of fitness levels and/or post evaluation of exercise programs. Results and recommendations are provided by credentialed health professionals.

Primary Exercise Training Certification

Primary Exercise Training Certification
For group exercise instructors whose training and educational
background has prepared them to ake the AFAA Primary Group Exercise Certification exam, this course is a review of AFAA's Basic Exercise Standards and Guidelines, anatomy, exercise science, exercise evaluation and exam criteria. The program format includes practical application of group exercise, study guide overview and question and answer sessions. The day concludes with written and practical exams.
Includes: study guide (shipping additional), workshop, full one-day Certification Review, written and practical exams, one year AFAA membership ($68 value) or membership extension to current members, subscription to American Fitness magazine and TeleFitness Internet access number.
Prerequisites: Early registration, self-study before program and group exercise teaching experience. The Practical Skills & Choreography workshop is a useful precursor. Current CPR certification required before certification is issued.
Pre-study materials: Primary Study Package includes important resource materials to prepare for certification.
